my name is tasia i've worked at california solar electric co-op for two and a half years and i'm the office manager and monitoring specialist my favorite thing about working at cal solar are the people my teammates i feel like they're family if i had to decide between a corporate job where i was getting paid a little more and being part of a co-op i think that i might still choose to be part of a co-op because it's more community and there's more vested interest from my other co-workers we're all a part of this together and we understand that and it just helps us all to be better employees we have more integrity for the work we do and i feel like we have more feelings for our customers i mean as part owners we want to be as successful as we can if we're successful as people and we make the company successful then we will be successful i just think that worker co-ops are a great place to to work and be i i just i can't explain it any better i i think it creates more community it helps you trust your employer more because you're your own employer and you're allowed to have a vested interest in the company you're allowed to know what the financials are nothing is a secret if we want to know how much the company is making all we have to do is ask and i think there's serious benefits to knowing the financial health of your company and just knowing that you're a part of the company and you do have a voice that's hurt owning a company with a bunch of people that i like is great i feel like this is one of the best things that's happened to me and one of the best opportunities that i've had to grow in a company i mean basically here at california solar sky is the limit you can kind of do what you put your mind to [Music] you
