my name is Craig Danley formerly the CEO of Delta pipeline now a shareholder we started Delta Pipeline and right away we started just investing in a small group of people doing one job at a time by 2005 we had 40 some odd people and we started sharing our profits with our employees we started really looking at how we could invest in their lives how we could make their lives better we decided to put our money where our mouth is and um we decided that ESOP was the best platform for us some of the benefits of employee ownership for me anyways is just being able to participate in something greater than just a job really being able to connect with people and help make a difference in people's lives so that that's what's exciting for me about about the ESOP and participating as an employee owner after becoming an employee owned company I was able to start my career and truly have a career from an intern all the way to an executive now we're offering them ownership and we're asking them to think differently we're asking them to look at their company look at their production look at their efforts look at their mindset and their future and what what are they really working for and who are they really working for there's a lot of people that we employ that depend on this company their families depend on this company not only do they depend on the company for their food at night but they depend on their company for a culture for relationships for living core values for the retirement for the medical benefits for the 401K and for a place to go and to make a difference it's an incredible opportunity there is skin in the game I have to work hard and have to be aware of not only what I do but what everybody does cuz everything that everybody does affects everybody's ultimate livelihood if you care anything about your business and the legacy of it the employees that are running your business will carry that on so that's a huge benefit they had started ESOP just prior to when I was hired we all have shares and ownership of the company we all put in effort and we all reap the benefits of that hard work this last 5 years has been more rewarding to know that people are depending on this for their future and that they're actually engaged in a different way and that I get to actually be part of that and see that it could potentially live on that I made a difference that's why we're here we're here to make a difference
