Colorado Cash Collateral Support (Employee Ownership)

A credit-enhancement program that provides a cash deposit as collateral so businesses that fall short of a lender's collateral requirements can still borrow. For employee-ownership transactions, lenders can apply for up to 40 percent of the loan or $800,000. It is funded by the federal State Small Business Credit Initiative and delivered by the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) as OEDIT's delivery partner.
