Zolidar bills each paid plan once a year. Planning a succession or a sale takes months, and a yearly plan keeps your tools in place for the whole stretch.
What each plan costs
The Solo plan is $100 a year.
The Owner plan is $500 a year.
The Advisor plan is $3,000 a year for each advisor seat.
The Program plan is $14,999 a year, paid by invoice.

How much Zolid AI comes with each Zolidar plan?
Every Zolidar plan includes Zolid AI, the thinking partner you use to talk through your Day Zero Guide, your Aha Planner numbers and the Grid’s knowledge.
How it differs by plan
The Free plan and the free advisor account include Zolid AI up to a monthly limit. Free accounts also share a daily limit.
The Solo, Owner, Advisor and Program plans include more AI usage.
An Owner plan’s AI usage is shared by everyone in that workspace.
An advisor firm’s AI usage is shared by its advisors and the client workspaces they cover.
4
Can I cancel a Zolidar plan, and can I get a refund?
You can cancel a paid Zolidar plan yourself, anytime. Canceling stops it from renewing.
How to cancel
For a workspace’s plan, open Plan and billing in that workspace, choose Manage billing, and cancel there.
For the Solo plan, open Settings › Billing and choose Manage billing.
Or write to z@zolidar.com and ask the Zolidar team to cancel it.
5
Who is Zolidar’s Solo plan for?
The Solo plan is for one person whose work touches business sales or employee ownership. That includes lenders, investors, fund managers, researchers and policy makers, and advisors who don’t need an advisor seat.
What you get
More Zolid AI for your deals and research
Ask Zolid AI about funds, lenders and advisors on the Grid
Your own AI usage in any workspace you join, so you keep using Zolid AI there even after that workspace’s AI usage runs out
6
What’s the difference between Zolidar’s Owner plan and Advisor plan?
The Owner plan ($500 a year) belongs to one business’s workspace. It gives that business the full Aha Planner on its own numbers, and everyone the business invites works in it.
The Advisor plan ($3,000 a year for each advisor seat) belongs to an advisor. It gives each client workspace the advisor covers the full Aha Planner at no cost to the client, with no limit on how many. It also gives the advisor their own Day Zero Guide link and one list of every client’s progress.
7
What payment methods does Zolidar accept?
You pay for the Solo and Owner plans by card at checkout. Stripe processes the payment.
Advisor seats
When you buy advisor seats, you can pay by card or from a US bank account.

What does a branded Zolidar Hub cost, and what's included?
The monthly figure
The pricing page shows what the Solo, Owner and Advisor plans work out to each month, to help you compare. You’re charged the yearly price, never monthly.
Renewal
Each paid plan renews automatically every year. You can cancel anytime before then, and you won’t be charged again. A workspace’s plan is canceled from Plan and billing, and the Solo plan from Settings › Billing.
With the Solo plan or an advisor seat, you keep using Zolid AI in any workspace you’re in, even after that workspace’s AI usage runs out.
When AI usage runs out
Zolid AI shows published answers from the Grid until that AI usage renews, or until the next day for the daily limit. Nothing is charged for going past it.
Getting more
There’s no pay-as-you-go. For more AI usage, choose the plan that fits you at zolidar.com/pricing.
After you cancel
The plan stays active until the end of the year you paid for, and its billing page shows the day it ends. Nothing more is charged. If you change your mind, choose Keep on that plan before the day it ends.
Refunds
If you’re unhappy with a purchase, write to z@zolidar.com with your workspace name and what happened. Zolidar looks at each refund request case by case. A duplicate charge for the same plan is refunded in full.
Changing plans
Each plan is bought on its own. To switch, buy the plan you want at zolidar.com/pricing, then cancel the one you no longer need. For help switching, write to z@zolidar.com.
Programs
The Program plan is paid by invoice, a year at a time. To change or end it, write to z@zolidar.com before the next invoice.
Everything in the Free plan
What it doesn’t do
The Solo plan doesn’t value or plan a business on its own numbers, and it doesn’t give clients’ workspaces the full Aha Planner. A business owner planning their company’s future wants the Owner plan. An advisor with clients wants an advisor seat.
Where you manage it
The Solo plan belongs to you, not to a workspace. You manage it from Settings › Billing.
The Program plan is paid by invoice, and an invoice can be paid by card or from a US bank account. If your organization needs to pay another plan by invoice, contact the Zolidar team.

The Owner plan is for business owners planning their company’s future, through to the exit. It costs $500 a year and covers your business’s workspace and everyone you invite.
What you get
An estimate of what your business is worth and how it’s worked out, including sales of similar businesses
Your projected financials and the numbers that drive your value
What-if changes, and how each one moves your value
Employee ownership compared with a sale, and what each means for you
Filling in your numbers by uploading your statements or connecting QuickBooks
Your Aha Planner as slides to share
More Zolid AI, shared with your team
Is it an appraisal?
No. It’s an estimate to plan with. An ESOP needs an independent appraisal, and a buyer or lender may ask for one too.
Who can buy it
An owner or admin of your business’s workspace on Zolidar.
Can an advisor pay for a business owner’s Zolidar plan, and what happens if they stop?
Many business owners plan with an advisor, such as an exit planner, broker or CPA. An advisor with a Zolidar advisor seat can cover your business’s workspace. While they do, it has the Owner plan, with the full Aha Planner, at no cost to you, and your team keeps working in it with you.
How an advisor covers a workspace
You sign up through the advisor’s link, with Cover their plan turned on for that link.
The advisor adds your business from their Clients list and covers it as they add it.
For a client already in their Clients list, the advisor chooses Sponsor a plan.
The Owner plan stays until its renewal date. Then it renews and is charged if your workspace has a card on file. Without one, the workspace moves to the Free plan, and your work stays in it.
The Advisor plan is for exit planners, business coaches, brokers, CPAs, attorneys and employee ownership consultants who advise business owners. Each advisor seat is for one named person and costs $3,000 a year.
Cover your clients
Cover an unlimited number of your clients’ workspaces. Each one you cover has the full Aha Planner at no cost to the client: an estimate of what the business is worth, its projected numbers, and employee ownership compared with a sale.
Cover a client as you add them from your Clients list, or choose Sponsor a plan on a client already in it.
Turn on Cover their plan for any of your links, so owners who sign up through it get the full Aha Planner right away.
Your clients’ teams, and anyone else they invite, work in those workspaces with you.
See your clients
See each client’s progress through the Day Zero Guide and the Aha Planner, in one list.
For you
Your own Day Zero Guide link, with your name or logo
More Zolid AI, shared with the clients you cover
Your own AI usage in any workspace you’re in, even after that workspace’s AI usage runs out
What one seat is worth
One seat costs the same as six Owner plans, and it covers an unlimited number of clients.
When AI usage runs out
Zolid AI shows published answers from the Grid until that AI usage renews. Nothing more is charged.
A free advisor account lets you share Zolidar with the owners you work with, at no cost.
What the free advisor account includes
Your own Day Zero Guide link, a free exit check for owners, with your name or logo on it
Who opens your link and who signs up
Each owner’s progress, in one list
A place in the workspace of each owner who signs up through your link, so you see their exit check results. Links add you this way unless you turn it off for a link.
See the full Aha Planner first
The Zolidar demo opens a sample business with its numbers filled in. You sign in with your email. There’s no card and no data to enter.
What needs an advisor seat
Giving clients the full Aha Planner needs an advisor seat, $3,000 a year, which covers an unlimited number of clients.
The Program plan is for organizations that help owners sell their business or move it to employee ownership. It’s built for small business development centers (SBDCs), CDFIs, banks and credit unions, counties, trade groups and employee ownership centers. It costs $14,999 a year, paid by invoice.
What you get
Your Hub, a branded website at your own web address with the Day Zero Guide
Your choice of Grid organizations, people, answers, episodes and reports to show on it
A sign-up link for each campaign or event, and who signs up through each
Your Hub’s visits in your own Google Analytics or Plausible
One advisor seat, which gives an unlimited number of owners the full Aha Planner
Each owner’s progress through the Day Zero Guide and the Aha Planner, in one list
What you can add
More advisor seats, $3,000 a year each, for someone else who needs their own link for owners. Your included seat already covers an unlimited number of owners. Added seats go on the same invoice.
Can one Zolidar Program plan serve several centers or offices?
A Zolidar Program plan includes one Hub. Each Hub has its own branded website, web address and list of the owners who sign up through it, which keeps each program’s owners and results apart.
For several centers or offices
Each center that needs its own Hub needs its own Program plan. Each is paid by invoice, a year at a time.
Growing one program
One program can add more advisor seats for $3,000 a year each, on the same invoice.
